DAWANG is a New York-based contemporary streetwear brand merging East and West influences through a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Founded in 2018 by Chinese-born designer Daisy Wang after studying subcultures at Parsons, the brand fills a gap in elevated Asian streetwear that's comfortable and accessible for everyday wear. Joined by best friend Ab Li in 2022, DAWANG combines traditional chinoiserie and Chinese fabrics with Western tailoring and trends, inviting people of all backgrounds to experience the beauty of #ModernChinese design.
